Taadah! That should (hopefully) keep me fat & happy for at least the next 4 years or so in most departments. Most importantly, it should be able to absolutely destroy Age of Conan.

It’s a bit more than what I had initially planned on spending, but as is almost always the case when browsing items on NewEgg, I kept up-selling myself until I reached that current amount.

I’ve been rather itching for a new online game to play and was recently delivered into the happy beta-tastic arms of WorldShift. I think I played from around 1am to 8am this morning before realizing what had happened.

It is being billed as an MMORTS, though it seems to just be an online-only RTS, with quest and level up features. There are a series of missions you can complete, co-operative maps and deathmatch styled maps. The missions and co-op games allow you to accumulate items and skills to improve one of three factions.

I found it to be a nice reprieve from the only other online endeavor that has kept my long-term interest, DotA.

So ya… Try it.
